Butcherd Beats - My Genre is My Name Producer, DJ, musician and engineer 'Butcherd Beats' (real name Isaac Butcher) is fast becoming one of the UK's best kept dance music secrets!
He has been compared with the likes of Basement Jaxx, and has already gained spins from Capital, Galaxy, Kiss FM and Radio One specialist shows, and has a building club fanbase. The eclectic mix of dance beats mixed with live trumpet, vocals and percussion brings a fresh and uplifting movement to the dance floor at clubs and festivals alike.
Butcherd Beats grew up in North West London, studied music and the trumpet, and later became a DJ. He has been writing music since he was 8, producing since he was 14 and DJing since he was 16.
After studying music technology he travelled around the world working for record labels such as Universal, Def Jam and Island, playing in some of the finest and most exclusive bars and clubs, he has appeared on MTV and many other TV & Radio shows across the globe and played at festivals to crowds of up to 40,000 people.
